Parents in Mind recruiting for more volunteers!

We’re delighted to announce that the NCT mental health peer support project for pregnant women and new mums, called Parents in Mind, is now operating in five sites in the Midlands and the North West.

Parents in Mind is now delivering peer support for local women in Coventry, Warwick and Leamington in the Midlands, along with Widnes and Runcorn in the North West.

In addition, a second cohort of volunteers are finishing training in the Midlands, which will allow for more one-to-one support locally after the summer.

As of mid-May, our new project manager was in post in Newham. And volunteer recruitment is underway in Newham and Halton for training in the Autumn.

If you’re interested in finding out more, or you want to volunteer in Newham, please email parentsinmind.newham@nct.org.uk.

If you’re interested in volunteering in Runcorn or Widnes, please email parentsinmind.halton@nct.org.uk.
