Supporting family fun this summer

Our volunteers and peer supporters have been out and about helping parents enjoy time with their babies this summer.

If you’ve been to a festival this summer with your baby, chances are you might have popped into one of our NCT Baby Feed & Change tents.

From Camp Bestival to Glastonbury, from Buzzstock to Devafest and the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, our NCT volunteers have been staffing NCT Baby Change and Feed tents, so babies (and parents!) can come and chill out, freshen up and feed their baby in a welcoming space.

We want to give a big shout out to our volunteers for being there when parents needed it (anyone who’s ever tried to change a nappy in the middle of a busy field will know what we’re talking about!)

T-shirt making event

Meanwhile, in East London, our Parents in Mind service held a T-shirt making event for dads and partners to come along and get stuck into creating a T-shirt, while bonding with their baby.

Imran Ali, ran the event, told us it was a lot of fun. He said: “It was wonderful to witness the enthusiasm and creativity for the event and the project itself.”

Want to volunteer with NCT?

We’re always looking for more volunteers to help in their local community. This could be to help run a Baby Café, Bumps and Babies sessions, or NCT Nearly New Sale. To find out more email volunteering@nct.org.uk
