New study on eating disorders and pregnancy: call for women to share their experiences

A team of researchers from the midwifery department at King’s College London are looking for women to participate in an important research study on perinatal eating disorders.

The researchers will be developing a training film about eating disorders for health professionals who care for pregnant women and new mothers, as well as providing information and advice on how best to support women during this time.

The team really need the help of mums of young children who have experienced eating disorders in the past to help them.

If you have children under five and are happy to share your experiences of eating disorders, pregnancy and postnatal care, the team would be very grateful.

It would involve attending a short workshop in London, or contributing by email or phone.
