Where are we up to in this year’s board elections? We run through the next three steps in choosing two new trustees for our board.
Firstly, we’d like to thank all those who expressed an interest in standing for the board. We’ve sent them nomination packs to complete. There are two positions to fill from our membership, including the President. See here for more details.
Voting opens on 18 September. Members will receive a personalised voting link (from Simply Voting) to elect their preferred candidates.
A reminder that joint members will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org to add a different unique email address. Voting then closes on 4 November.
We’ll announce the two new Trustees on 16 November at the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM). Why not come along yourself to hear them in person?
“Trustees have a unique responsibility to ask the higher-order questions, such as ‘Is NCT’s long-term strategy right? Do we have the right policies in place to govern day-to-day working? What risks do we face?” explains Jess Figueras, Chair of NCT’s Trustee Board, in her blog, five things you need to know about NCT’s Trustees.

This year’s AGM is on Saturday 16 November 2019 at Woburn House Conference Centre, 20 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9HQ. We’ll send you a full AGM agenda and more details about the event nearer the time. Book your place here.
