Spring into an NCT Nearly New Sale!

It’s the perfect time for a spring clear out. If the longer days are giving you more energy to take stock of what you no longer need, read on about how our NCT Nearly New Sales can help.

Time for a declutter

Did you know that at our NCT Nearly New Sales, you can sell clothes and toys your baby has grown out of? This’ll help you clear space in your home (which is often in short supply with all the bits and bobs you need for your baby) while making some money.

Two ways to do it

Volunteers who run sales in your area provide two methods of selling. The first is table-top sales, where a flat fee is charged, then you can sell items yourself and keep all the profits.

The other is ticketed sales, where volunteers sell items for you for a small commission – which are convenient if you can’t stay for the duration of the sale.

Many of our volunteers find the sales really rewarding. One told us: “I love helping out at my local sale. It is amazing to see the transformation from an empty room to pop up shop and it feels good to be doing something that helps my family and other local parents.”

Stock up and save

Of course, you can come to a sale to buy good quality, pre-loved baby items for a fraction of the price than if you’d bought a similar item new. If you’re an NCT member, you can get in early to browse and shop before the queues.
